National City Parks and Recreation Futsal Association.
|
FEFUSA is uniting City Parks and Recreation Centers nationwide.
Because of the fact that most City Parks and Recreation Centers in the USA already do some kind of soccer or indoor soccer,
FEFUSA has approached several centers to join the "WFA" World Futsal Association.
It is well known that in the states of California, New York, Massachussettes, Florida and many other there are thousands of Futsal Players.
The only negative point about is that all of them are playing different styles with different rules. Fefusa, the legal representative of the
WFA in the USA is building a program and system to unit all these parks. The advantage is that with a coordinated program among all the City parks
the National Association will enjoy good deals in buying products related to Futsal and Soccer. Also your City
will appear on the world map of sports as a member of a world wide chain with 87 countries as members. (See affilites of AMF).
Fefusa will sanction national games among the afiliated members and organize international tours.
Fefusa will cover part or total costs for selected teams to represent USA in international youth tournaments.
Fefusa will conduct referee and coaches clinics all over the nation.
Fefusa dedicate the sport of Futsal to the youth and amateurs.
Fefusa is a not for profit organization with Futsal in mind.
Fefusa will add your website to the www.Fefusa.org site.
Fefusa will have you covered under their national insurance policy.( Liability and medical.)

FEFUSA in partnership with USL (United Sports League) is gaining confidence in the USA Futsal world.
|
FEFUSA "The Federation of Futsal USA" already profits of the recent name change from US COURT SOCCER Federation to FEFUSA. Futsal organizations recognize the name much better and agree with the Philosophy of FEFUSA Futsal. FEFUSA is there to promote and overlook the authentic and original Futsal the way it was meant to be played in the USA.
In a short period of less than 3 months the federation knew to convince several Futsal organization to affiliate with them. A total of at least 5500 members have been added to their already growing list and the expectations are that within a year a total of 50.000 members are expected to join FEFUSA. The interested Futsal clubs are mostly youth organizations who realize that the open minded policy, honesty and non greediness of FEFUSA will only have positive results on all who is involved in Futsal and soccer.
FEFUSA accept members of all organizations and federations to join them in tournaments even though they are representing the World Futsal Association AKA as the AMF Asociacion Mundial de Futsal. FEFUSA in conjunction of the United Sports Leagues (USL) expect to be the largest Futsal organization in the World within two years time.
FEFUSA wants to concentrate only on Futsal and does not want to mix two different sports. FEFUSA does promote Futsal as a tool to better soccer playing. FEFUSA has already given several coaching and referee courses and will have in December a clinic in San Francisco California to at least 40 referees interested to also amply their Futsal Referee knowledge by getting their FEFUSA certification. Any club interested to have a clinic or demonstration to their coaches please contact us by e-mail at FEFUSA@live.com or KFisher@unitedsportsleague.com.

The game must go on AMF/USA National Men's Selection vs Spain Catalunia, October 2007
|
October 11-15, 2007
Lady Fortuna definitely was not with the USA delegation on their trip to Catalonia, Spain for their two friendly games Catalonia Spain vs USA/AMF.
It was one unfortuned case after the other. To start with, the Air France airlines in New York refused 4 players to travel to Spain with our delegation of 11 players. This is to blame to the Travel agency who never did told these players, or the manager of our delegation, that they needed a visa to land in Paris, France ( Transit to Barcelona Spain). To Spain they did not need the visa but to land in Paris they did.
So we took off with 7 players and decided that the assistant coach would dress too. This was a friendly and we did not want to jepordize the Catalonian Federation with not showing up at all, as they had already advertise that the USA would be there.
Arriving in Barcelona after 14 hours of travel, we were notified that only lugage of 3 persons did arrive. None of the players did receive theirs.
No uniforms no futsal gear. The president of the Catalonion Federation made a few calls while we were driving to our hotel and got all the players a brand new pair of Nikes and also he arranged that one of the local clubs lend us their uniforms. We did not make it to the hotel because our first of the two games should start at 8:00 PM and we left the airport for a two hour ride at 5:30 PM.So straight to the Futsal Hall.
Our players did quite well for the first game and we lost 7-2.
The second game, two days later, playing again with 7 players, we kept it to a 5-3 loss. The next two game were supposed to be played in the USA.
The rising cost of the airlines did jepordize the games for the moment. Also the Catalonion Federation is concentrating on the First World Cup for Women which will take place in September 2008.
All together a great trip during which we learned that whatever may happen
The game must go on.

N.Y. Ecuador with Coach Tony Toral Makes Strong Run in National Tourney
|
BALTIMORE, MD. (7-18-08)- The N.Y. Ecuador Futsal Club had an impressive run at the USFF National Championships. A very young squad comprised of mostly 20 year olds ran through the group stage by defeating MACSA from California, Safira from Massachusetts and the eventual Champions Charm City from Maryland.
 |
Standing: Coach Tony Toral, Javier Decima, Alberto Gavilanes, Richard Lesmes (Captain), Diego Mayanga, Edison Bayas, Juan Peralta, Mauricio Romero.
Front row: Brian Almeida, Kleber Almeida, Cesar Valenzuela, Steven Amaya (Captain), Matias Velazquez, Alan Acevedo. |
Although very young, players of this team has already represented the U.S. in International AMF Futsal competitions in Mexico, Spain Catalunia and Canada. Thisexperience paid off after a year of ups and downs.
Charm City, the Champion of the tournament, is made up of USFF Futsal National Team players with World Cup experience like Lee Tschantret, Brett Phillips, Don D'Ambra and included MISL players such as all league defender P.J. Wakefield, Giuliano Celenza and Robbie Aristodemo from the Baltimore Blast.
In Quarter Finals, N.Y. Ecuador defeated the Den of Lions Legends 6-0 and the match-up against perennial powerhouse, World United FC was set. World United had defeated the defending National Champions, Nacional from Utah 9-3. World United's lineup is scary on paper counting with U.S. National Futsal Team Captain and MISL MVP, Denison Cabral, Milwaukee Wave and All-Rookie Selection as well as former Malwee FC (Brazil) player Marcio Leite, Deco also from the Milwaukee Wave, Lucio from the Baltimore Blast, Hewerton Detroit Ignition and Goalkeeper, Senaldo among others.
The game was very tactical and little gaps were given by both sides. It wasn't until the 12th minute that World United opened the score after a lapse of concentration from a defender who had just come on to replace team Captain, Richard Lesmes. World United was quickly up 2-0 and then it seemed that N.Y. Ecuador woke up and started to break down United. In the following minutes N.Y. Ecuador was able to constantly break down the United defense and through speed and skill found gaps to take shot after shot on goal only to be turned away by a spectacular Senaldo.
In the second half, United went up 4-0 after N.Y. Ecuador was all attack trying to come up with the goal they deserved. AN.Y.one watching the game would not have guessed that United was on top or at least that they deserved to be.
In the last 10 minutes N.Y. Ecuador pulled within 2 with goals from Juan Peralta and Alan Acevedo and after pulling the Goalkeeper for the fifth attacker, Cesar Valenzuela the game became a show that World United did not want to be a part of. Time after time the lineup made up of Valenzuela, Mayanga, Lesmes, Peralta, and Acevedo did whatever they wanted with the United players. It was a demonstration of the sheer ability one develops playing futsal.
In the first goal scored by Peralta, he cut U.S. National Team Captain, Cabral inside and out and then left him behind with a sudden burst of speed. If Senaldo would not have been inspired the score would have and should have been in favor N.Y. Ecuador. Yet little can be taken away from the experience and tactics demonstrated by World United - it was this experience and their desire to stop playing and just kick the ball three courts down that cut the momentum of the game. So much was taken out of World United that the Final was a monologue which led to an easy victory from Charm City FC.
Most N.Y. Ecuador players have made a name for themselves in futsal and indoor soccer circles and hopefully someone that can give them a shot at maybe a National Team trial was watching. After all it is safe to say that they were the most skillful players 1v1 in the entire tournament. N.Y. Ecuador players grew up playing futsal and only play futsal which is why they have such skill on the ball.
